At the 2000 Masters, Vijay Singh shot a final-round 69 to win his second major title by three strokes. Vijay Singh survived trouble early on the back nine. David Duval didn't. As a result, Vijay Singh won The Masters for his second major championship. Duval gambled and lost to Rae's Creek on No. 13, leaving second to Ernie Els. Singh shot a final-round 69. Duval had made four birdies on the front nine to apply serious pressure on Singh, but he could never get closer than one shot and ended up tied for third with Loren Roberts.
